Cookery Workshop: Simply Chicken!

2 separate sessions (chose one):        Saturday January 23, 2010, 10AM to 2:30PM

                                               Monday February 15, 2010, 10AM to 2:30 PM

$75/ person

Learn to make the most of chicken, this inexpensive, easy-to-find and too-often-maligned poultry. We’ll learn how to cut up a whole chicken and how to make your own stock (and why you should do both).

 

We’ll cook a spicy Vietnamese-inspired chicken soup that’s sure to warm you up.

We’ll also concoct spicy Chicken Sosaties (of  South African inspiration) and of course, we’ll learn to roast a perfect chicken along with seasonal veggies for a one-pot delicious dinner. And provide ideas for left-overs that neither taste nor feel like left-overs.

 

Perfect for meal planning, especially on a budget.

 

Printed recipes provided, as well as time to sit down and enjoy the freshly prepared dishes.
