As the days cool off and the nights lengthen, we start craving for warming soups and the robust flavors characteristic of the fall kitchen. Hardy greens such as cabbage, kale & Swiss chard are wonderful braised. Root vegetables are full of flavor and sweetness: carrots, parsnip, celery-root, beets & turnips. Local salad greens are back on our plate after the hot hiatus of summer. We welcome apples, pears and quince - good in both sweet and savory dishes. Below are but a few examples of our fall menus.
