Laughing DUCK GARDENS & Cookery

Recipe Index

You will find some of our recipes in our Rappahannock County based blog, Rappahannock Cook & Kitchen Gardener. There we also chronicle happenings in the kitchen garden - tracking its progresses (or set-backs) throughout the seasons, growing & cooking tips, seasonal recipes, occasional visits to other kitchen gardens, food discoveries in the Virginia Northern Piedmont area & locavore musings… and other topics related to “real” food. The recipes use local ingredients, but not exclusively and I freely will admit to use local food that has been home-preserved, such as frozen fruit, jam, canned tomatoes etc, and therefore used out of their original season.

Note: as we add recipes to the blog, we’ll post them here in the index. So come back often to see what’s new.

Click on the recipe name to be taken to the recipe page. You may then need to scroll down the page, past the introduction, to see the recipe. More recent posts (well…. most of them) have a separate printable recipe-only page. I am slowly working on updating them all. I said… “slowly”.

If you use a recipe, do post a comment on how it turned out for you! Feedback’s always appreciated.
